Anthony Ratliff-Williams, WR, North Carolina #17

6004, 205, 4.54

Notes: From Matthews, NC. Dual-threat high school quarterback. Redshirted in 2015. Move from quarterback to wide receiver, appeared in 9 games, caught 3 passes for 21 yards and returned 7 kickoffs for 138 yards in 2016. Played in 12 games, caught 35-630-6 (18.0 avg.) and returned kickoffs 34-895-2 (26.3 avg.) in 2017. In 11 games, he caught 42-689-2 (16.4 avg.), rushed 11-83-1 and returned kickoffs 28-598 (21.4 avg.) in 2018.

Positives: Nice size, athletic ability and hands. Very good balance, body control and concentration. Competes for the football. Tracks the ball well. Gets behind defenders and makes big plays. Will catch over the middle. Runs well after the catch. Does not settle for just making the catch. Good field vision and instincts. Good footwork on pass routes. Shows quickness out of his breaks. Can throw the option pass effectively. Good kickoff returner.

Negatives: Lacks elite, burner home run deep speed and quick-twitch explosiveness. Good but not great production, although frequently not surrounded by great talent.

Summary: Underrated, well-rounded prospect who could be a better pro than college player if he lands in a situation with a strong supporting cast.
