Notes: From LaGrange, OH. Nickname is “Mini Gronk.” Played in all 12 games with 9 starts and caught 15-149-1 in 2015. Had surgery for a sports hernia following season. Started 11 of 13 games played, catching 19-262-4 in 2016, including a career-long 72-yard TD. Had surgery on his shoulder following the season. Played in the first 8 games, catching 16-286-4, before missing the rest of the season after injuring his foot and undergoing surgery in 2017. Also had surgery on his other shoulder during the offseason. One of six team captains for 2018. On track to graduate with a degree in communications in December 2018.

Positives: Very nice size with above average movement skills. Good hands and catches the ball well. Can get down the seam. Capable blocker. Gets position and seals off. Also does a nice job in pass protection when needed. Picks up yards after the catch. Can line up in-line or in the backfield as an H-back. Hard worker and competitive.

Negatives: Lacks great speed and maneuverability. Does not overpower as a blocker and can improve there. Has been hindered by various injuries.

Summary: Solid all-around prospect who does flash some Rob Gronkowski-type skills and could be a very solid pro.
