Positives: Above-average size and strength. Runs with good vision and body lean. Follows his blockers well. Shows good patience and instincts. Breaks arm tackles. Has some burst. Catches the ball well and was essentially the third-down back at MSU in 2017.

Negatives: Lacks top-end speed and can be caught from behind. Has had fumble problems.
