Notes: From Atlanta, GA. Played in 11 games with 2 starts, making 22 tackles, 2.5 TFL and 1 sack in 2015. Served a one-game suspension his freshman season after being arrested for possession of marijuana in a UGA parking deck. Played in 10 games, making 9 starts, recorded 59 tackles, 4.5 TFL and 1 sack in 2016. Played in 9 games, starting in 7, with 35 tackles and 2.5 TFL in 2017. He served a 4-game suspension and missed 2 other games due to off-field actions. He was arrested two times at various points during the season on misdemeanor marijuana possession charges. Was facing dismissal from the team under Georgia athletic rules for a third violation of the drug and alcohol policy, but was able to get charges dismissed in court. After two additional failed drug tests for opiates and alcohol resulted in a probation violation, he entered an inpatient drug treatment program in Augusta as part of an agreement reached with Athens-Clarke County. He missed the team’s playoff semifinal against Oklahoma and also did not suit up for the National Championship Game, but was on the sideline for that game.

Positives: Good athlete with size, speed and good instincts. Diagnoses well and is decisive to the action. Moves well and has sideline-to-sideline range. Can penetrate and disrupt. Good balance. Gets off blocks and stays on his feet. Considered a good teammate with leadership qualities on the field.

Negatives: Is not truly outstanding in any phase. Obvious off-field concerns and ability to stay clean.

Summary: Good football player whose draft stock will likely take a hit because of the substance issues. However, with a strong support system, and good judgement on his part, he can play at the next level.
