Notes: From Canton, GA. His brother, Brittain Brown, is a running back at Duke. Uncle is former Georgia and NFL running back Herschel Walker. Originally joined the team as a walk-on, and played in 3 games on special teams in 2014. Redshirted in 2015. Played in 12 games with 34 tackles, 0.5 TFL, 0.5 sacks, 10 PBU, 1 FF and 6 INT (88 return yards) in 2016. In 12 games, he had 33 tackles, 11 PBU, 1 FF and 5 INT (for 93 yards and 1 touchdown) in 2017. Suffered a torn ACL in his left knee in the New Orleans Bowl, had surgery in January and was on the field for the opener in 2018.

Positives: Fine athlete with good quickness, feet and speed. Can run with receivers in coverage and shows very good ball instincts and hands. Breaks on the ball well. Tough, competitive and a hard worker.

Negatives: Gets out-muscled by bigger, stronger receivers at times. Generally played against a lower level of competition. Can improve his technique.

Summary: Has the tools to develop into a solid player in the NFL.
