Notes: From Houston, TX. Nickname is "Lightning." Played in all 12 games as a freshman, rushing for 506 yards (including a long run of 40) and 3 touchdowns on 81 carries (6.2 avg.) and caught 10 passes for 100 yards, in 2015. Appeared in 10 games, rushed 124-642-8 (5.2 avg.) and a long run of 85 and caught 6-83-2, in 2016. Took over the starting spot in Week 2, rushed 211-1,336-17 (6.3 avg.), long of 62 and caught 8-143, in 2017. Has also returned kickoffs, averaging 21.0 on 14 returns.

Positives: Quick, nifty, fast and explosive. Very good vision and instincts. Good cutback runner with burst to daylight. Has speed around the corner. Can make defenders miss. Dangerous in the open field. Runs hard. Tough for size. Seldom takes a clean shot because of his quickness. Very difficult to corral. Good balance. Can break the big run. Seldom gets caught from behind. Catches the ball well out of the backfield.

Negatives: Small and thin. Lacks top strength, bulk and power to carry tacklers. Gets bounced around and goes down fairly easily at times.

Summary: Small but a very productive runner who can also make plays as a receiver. Solid Tarik Cohen-type third-down, rotation back.
