Played in 14 games, had 29 carries for 226 yards and 2 touchdowns and caught 15 passes for 250 yards and 1 touchdown as a freshman in 2015. Backup to Christian McCaffery in 2015-16. Team captain in 2018. Expects to earn his degree in human biology in December 2018, and wants to be a pediatrician when his playing days are over.

Positives: Consistent big-play threat. Pulls away from pursuit and is seldom caught from behind. Elite breakaway speed, but has terrific vision and patience to wait for holes to develop. Doesn’t just outrun people all the time. Explosive quickness and acceleration. Outstanding feet, quickness and balance. Very nifty and elusive. Can get through modest crease and make defenders miss with a quick cut or spin move. Stays upright and fights for yards. Has added some bulk and improved strength.

Negatives: Naturally undersized and lacks power and top tackle-breaking strength. Gets overwhelmed at times on the blitz pickup. Isn’t built to be a workhorse.

Summary: Smallish home run threat who can turn a simple toss into a big play on any given play.
