William Sweet, OT, North Carolina #51

6062, 315, 5.38

Notes: From Jacksonville, FL. Redshirted in 2015. Appeared in all 13 games with one start in 2016. Started first 3 games before suffering a season-ending ACL injury in 2017. As a student enrolled in Entrepreneurship and Business Planning, a class at UNC’s Kenan-Flagler Business School, Sweet came up with the concept for a cold compression sleeve. Just weeks after surgery, his idea won the fourth annual Carolina Challenge Pitch Party, UNC’s business venture competition. His team earned a $400 award to create a prototype, and Sweet is working toward securing a copyright and patent for the cold compression sleeve. Returned from injury to start 10 games at left tackle in 2018. Graduated with bachelor of art’s degree in December 2018.

Positives: Fine size and overall length. Smart, mature person who will learn quickly and respond to pro coaching. Athletic for size with good movement skills.

Negatives: Still very raw and unrefined in terms of technique and consistency. Lacks mass, bulk and lower-body power and explosiveness.

Summary: Will need time to develop, but has a lot of tools and could be special if he really wants it.
