Albert Huggins, DT, Clemson #67

6021, 315, 5.12

Notes: From Orangeburg, SC. Played in 5 games and made 12 tackles and 1 PBU in 2015. Played in 13 games and posted 20 tackles and 3 sacks in 2016. Played in 13 games (2 starts) with 21 tackles, 5 TFL and 1.5 sacks in 2017. Has played behind Christian Wilkins and Dexter Lawrence, which has limited his playing time.

Positives: Disruptive and flashes explosiveness and intensity. Strong (bench-presses 500 pounds) and well built. Can stand up blockers and hold the point of attack. Disruptive at times. Agile and athletic for size. Can bull rush and collapse the pocket.

Negatives: Marginal production. Inconsistent. Still developing his technique. Has been slow to catch on and buy in.

Summary: Has played behind Wilkins and Lawrence much of his career, but very much looks the part of a rotational inside guy at the next level, and could be special with the right defensive line coach who can turn the light all the way on.
